Another magical trip with the One Voice team, traveled the ‘you are beautiful’ campaign to Nicaragua where we found our selves confronted and amazed by a whole new culture and with in it a whole new bundle of children. This trip laid out its fair amount of hurdles and each time we came together to jump them, we found new hight’s and formed connections deeper still. Searching for and discovering a balance between what we hoped to offer and share, and what this culture and community was open to receiving, we further expanded our understanding of the complexities and with in that- the same-ness of the human family. Hearts where opened and fresh perspectives and states of mind were explored, not just for the children, but for all of us. Much was learned and many seeds where planted, which I only hope we will see grow and flower in the future of these precious children.
