Viva la France
In a land that has been beckoning me for many years now, I finally found myself surrounded by the melting deep tones of the french language- rendering me speechless (in my own language) but blissfully happy. Giggling gleefully as baguettes ran through the narrow streets with humans attached, and red beret's perched on heads speckling vibrant colour which danced below the awe- inspiring grandeur of the buildings that made up the old and beautiful city of Paris. I watched (and photographed) with pride as my cousin rode for great britain in the European equestrian championships in Versailles and marvelled at the magical bonds created between man and horse as two animals surrender completely into trust and learn to move together as one. I finally made it down to find Laurie in the South of France and was blown away by the beauty of the rolling hills, stretching coast lines, natural produce and tiny stone villages. Drinking wine, eating cheese and twisting my lips to dance to the native tongue...this time in France felt like..a Taste. A taste of more to come...;) ♥
